Embark on this 9 Days Golden Triangle with Ranthambore and Varanasi and discover the finest cultural, spiritual, and wildlife sites and monuments in India’s Golden Triangle Tour with Ranthambore and Varanasi. You will admire all these 5 cities, i.e, Delhi for its bustling souk-like bazaars, crumbling Mughal charm, and imperious British remains.
Continue to Agra to wonder at the Taj Mahal. At Ranthambore, look for the most magnificent creature in the world, the tiger, before heading to the vivacious Pink City of Jaipur, famous for its exquisite, colorful palaces, decorated elephants, and romantic tales of yesteryear.
Finally, get a glimpse into the spiritual life of Varanasi, one of the most important and ancient religious centers of the country, perched by the River Ganges, and the Buddhist sanctuary of Sarnath.
Day 01: Arrive in Delhi – Pickup – Overnight in Delhi.
Our team chauffeur will be waiting to greet you at the airport and accompany you to your pre-booked hotel.
The rest of the day is at leisure to settle in and recuperate from your international journey. Depending on how early in the day you arrive, you may explore Gurudwara Bangla Sahib or Akshardham Temple if time permits. Check in to your hotel. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing – Overnight in Delhi.
Today, after breakfast a guided tour of both Old and New Delhi begins. Visit Jama Masjid (The largest mosque in India). Take a rickshaw ride through the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk, one of the oldest and busiest markets in Delhi. Stop for photos at The Red Fort. See the India Gate, a war memorial that honors the soldiers who died in World War I.
Also, stop for photos at the Parliament House, and the President’s Palace. Then visit Humayun’s Tomb, the first garden tomb on the Indian subcontinent. Then visit the Qutub Minar Complex (One of the oldest monuments of Delhi).
After your tour, come back to your hotel. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 03: Delhi – Varanasi (By Flight) – Overnight in Varanasi.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Delhi airport to board a flight to Varanasi. Upon arrival at Varanasi airport, our representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel in Varanasi.
After some Rest at the hotel, meet your local guide for a tour of the Ganges and its ghats, culminating with the evening aarti ceremony. A highlight of our Golden Triangle Tour with Varanasi, these ancient ceremonies have changed very little over hundreds and hundreds of years. The smell of sandalwood and incense swirls around while the sounds of prayer chanting and clashing symbols rise to a crescendo. Hundreds of little oil lamps twinkling on the river are a pretty sight.

Day 04: Varanasi City Tour – Overnight in Varanasi.
Rise early and return to the Ganges for a sunrise boat ride. A sunrise boat ride is the highlight of this tour when a soft light bathes the temples along the riverfront. The people of Varanasi trickle out of the tangled alleys and head for the ghats at dawn.
Take a walk to the labyrinth of streets packed with derelict palaces, homes, and hundreds of temples and shrines. Experience the lifestyle of people, and feel the culture of the city. Here you’ll see funeral processions, cows, and goats munching on whatever they can find.
You’ll also explore a winding lane known as Vishwanath Gali, lined with many shops selling all manner of religious objects. It leads to the city’s principal shrine, the Vishwanath Temple.
Return to our hotel for breakfast. In the afternoon we will do a most popular excursion to Sarnath located 13 km northeast of Varanasi. It is a very special place for Buddhists as Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon at Sarnath, after attaining enlightenment. Return to Varanasi. Overnight in Varanasi.
Day 05: Varanasi – Delhi (By Flight) – Delhi – Agra ( By Road)
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Varanasi airport to board a flight to Delhi. Upon arrival at Delhi airport, our representative/chauffeur will meet you at the airport and you’ll be driven to Agra via a 3-4 hour drive on the expressway.
Arrive in Agra, and check in to the hotel. After freshening up, meet your Guide and start your tour with Agra Fort which was the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty. You’ll have ample time to explore the Fort and enjoy its magnificent architecture.
Then visit Mehtab Bagh. It is also noted that Emperor Shah Jahan had identified this site as an ideal location for the beautiful view of the Taj Mahal during sunset. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Agra.
Day 06: Agra Sightseeing – Drive to Jaipur – Overnight in Jaipur.
This morning, wake up early and visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise, during the most magical time. After the Taj Mahal tour, come back to the hotel for breakfast and check out.
You’ll be chauffeured to Jaipur with an en-route visit to Fatehpur Sikri (a 16th-century Mughal complex that was abandoned by Emperor Akbar after just 14 years).
Later, continue your journey to Jaipur. On arrival, I’ll be transferred to your pre-booked hotel. Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 07: Jaipur City Tour – Overnight in Jaipur
After breakfast, at 8.00 AM, meet your guide and proceed to explore Jaipur, the Pink City. Founded in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the ruler of Amber, Jaipur was the first planned city in India. This town is also referred to as the Pink City for the color of the buildings in its wonderful old city. The city was painted pink to honor the visit of Prince Albert of England in 1882.
Visit Amber Fort -This magnificent fort comprises an extensive palace complex, each with its own courtyard. Jal Mahal -(water palace) It is in the middle of Man Sagar Lake{photostop}. Next, visit the City Palace, which includes the Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal palaces and other buildings. It was the seat of the Maharaja of Jaipur and the Royal residence.
Jantar Mantar. It features the world’s largest stone sundial and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Hawa Mahal -(wind palace) stop here for good pictures. Come back to the hotel after your tour.
Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 08: Jaipur – Ranthambore – Evening Game Drive – Overnight in Ranthambore.
Today, after breakfast, you will be driven to Ranthambore, home to leopards, peacocks, numerous species of deer, crocodiles, and sloth bears, and the most famous resident is the majestic Bengal Tigers – pretty much the whole Jungle Book!
Arrive at Ranthambhore, check in to your hotel, and have lunch. Later, you’ll head into the park for a Jeep/Canter safari to observe the jungle in the evening. After the safari, you’ll return to the hotel. Overnight in Ranthambore.
Day 09: Jaipur – Ranthambore – Evening Game Drive – Overnight in Ranthambore.
Rise early, for your Jeep/Cantar morning safari in Ranthambhore National Park. The park’s most famous resident is the majestic Bengal Tiger, though it’s also home to leopards, peacocks, numerous species of deer, crocodiles, sloth bears, and more.
After the morning safari, you’ll return to the hotel for breakfast. After Breakfast, you’ll be chauffeured back to Delhi (about 6 hours). Transfer to the airport or your hotel for your onward journey. Your end with wonderful memories.
