Tour Overview:

This 9-day Delhi Agra Jaipur Ranthambore Amritsar Tour combines fascinating culture, monumental architecture, untamed wildlife, and historic splendor. The tour starts in Delhi, where you will visit the ancient monuments, narrow streets, and bustling bazaars of Old Delhi. 

The next stop is Agra, where you will visit the famous Taj Mahal, a symbol of eternal love and an emblem of India. You will also visit the Agra Fort, built in the middle of the 16th century as an impregnable citadel.

After Agra, you will visit Ranthambore National Park, where there’s a high chance of spotting the Royal Bengal Tiger. You will have the opportunity to go on morning and evening game drives in Ranthambore.

The tour then proceeds to Jaipur, where you will tour the grand forts and palaces of royal Jaipur. The final stop is Amritsar, where you will watch the flag-lowering ceremony at the India-Pakistan border.

Tour Itinerary:

9 Days Delhi Agra Jaipur Ranthambore Amritsar Tour

Day 01: Arrive in Delhi – Pickup – Overnight in Delhi.

Our team chauffeur will be waiting to greet you at the airport and accompany you to your pre-booked hotel.

The rest of the day is at leisure to settle in and recuperate from your international journey. Depending on how early in the day you arrive, you may explore Gurudwara Bangla Sahib or Akshardham Temple if time permits. Check in to your hotel. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing – Overnight in Delhi.

Today, after breakfast a guided tour of both Old and New Delhi begins. Visit Jama Masjid (The largest mosque in India). Take a rickshaw ride through the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk, one of the oldest and busiest markets in Delhi. Stop for photos at The Red Fort. See the India Gate, a war memorial that honors the soldiers who died in World War I. 

Also, stop for photos at the Parliament House, and the President’s Palace. Then visit Humayun’s Tomb, the first garden tomb on the Indian subcontinent. Then visit the Qutub Minar Complex (One of the oldest monuments of Delhi).

After your tour, come back to your hotel. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 03: Delhi to Amritsar BY TRAIN – Overnight in Amritsar

Early this morning, you will check out from your hotel and drive to New Delhi railway station to board your train for Amritsar. Arrive at Amritsar railway Station and meet your chauffeur. Transfer to your hotel and check in.

Next, you’ll head out to Wagah Border – the last check post on the Indian border with Pakistan. Each evening, as buglers sound the last post, two splendidly uniformed guards on either side of the border goose-step across to the flagpoles to lower their respective national flags. 

Their steps match so perfectly that it is like watching a mirror image of the same exercise. The ceremony, which attracts spectators on both sides, is a poignant reminder of the Partition of 1947 when Punjab was divided between two nations. Overnight in Amritsar. 

Day 04: Amritsar Tour – Delhi BY TRAIN – Overnight in Delhi.

Today, after breakfast, you will start your sightseeing tour of Amritsar. Visit the Golden Temple (Harmandir Sahib), admire its Golden Dom and marble walls, and witness the devotion of the pilgrims. Your guide will show you around the central area of the temple and will explain its rich history and layout, including the vast dining hall where visitors sit down and eat a free meal together.

The most incredible part – as you’ll find out as your guide takes you behind the scenes to explore the world’s largest community kitchen, where volunteers freshly prepare all this food. You will see big cauldrons full of dhal (lentils) and groups of ladies rolling out chapatti (flatbread). Meanwhile, the noise in the background is the endless washing of plates.

Next, you will visit the Jallianwala Bagh, a historical site where hundreds of innocent people were massacred by the British in 1919. If time allows, visit, Partition Museum, located in the Town Hall building, which used to be a Kotwali, or jail, and the prison cells still exist and are open to the public. 

After your tour, drive to Amritsar railway station to board your train for Delhi. Arrive at Delhi Railway Station and meet your chauffeur. Transfer to your hotel and check in. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 05: Delhi to Agra – Agra Sightseeing – Overnight in Agra.

This morning you’ll be chauffeured to Agra, home of the world’s favorite monument to love – the Taj Mahal. 

On arrival, leave your luggage at your prebooked hotel where your guide will meet you for a tour of the massive red sandstone fort followed by the magnificent Taj Mahal in its most romantic light at sunset from Mehtab Bagh. 

After your tour, return to your hotel. Overnight in Agra.

Day 06: Agra Sightseeing – Drive to Jaipur – Overnight in Jaipur.

This morning, wake up early and visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise, during the most magical time. After the Taj Mahal tour, come back to the hotel for breakfast, and check out. 

You’ll be chauffeured to Jaipur with an en-route visit to Fatehpur Sikri (a 16th-century Mughal complex that was abandoned by Emperor Akbar after just 14 years). 

Later, continue your journey to Jaipur. On arrival, I’ll be transferred to your pre-booked hotel. Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 07: Jaipur City Tour – Overnight in Jaipur

After breakfast, at 8.00 AM, meet your guide and proceed to explore Jaipur, the Pink City. Founded in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the ruler of Amber, Jaipur was the first planned city in India. This town is also referred to as the Pink City for the color of the buildings in its wonderful old city. The city was painted pink to honor the visit of Prince Albert of England in 1882. 

­Visit Amber Fort -This magnificent fort comprises an extensive palace complex, each with its own courtyard. Jal Mahal -(water palace) It is in the middle of Man Sagar Lake{photostop}. Next, visit the City Palace, which includes the Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal palaces and other buildings. It was the seat of the Maharaja of Jaipur and the Royal residence. 

­Jantar Mantar. It features the world’s largest stone sundial and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Hawa Mahal -(wind palace) stop here for good pictures. Come back to the hotel after your tour. 

Overnight in Jaipur. 

Day 08: Jaipur – Ranthambore – Evening Game Drive – Overnight in Ranthambore.

Today, after breakfast, you will be driven to Ranthambore, home to leopards, peacocks, numerous species of deer, crocodiles, and sloth bears, and the most famous resident is the majestic Bengal Tigers – pretty much the whole Jungle Book! 

Arrive at Ranthambhore, check in to your hotel, and have lunch. Later, you’ll head into the park for a Jeep/Canter safari to observe the jungle in the evening. After the safari, you’ll return to the hotel. Overnight in Ranthambore. 

Day 09: Jaipur – Ranthambore – Evening Game Drive – Overnight in Ranthambore.

Rise early, for your Jeep/Cantar morning safari in Ranthambhore National Park. The park’s most famous resident is the majestic Bengal Tiger, though it’s also home to leopards, peacocks, numerous species of deer, crocodiles, sloth bears, and more.

After the morning safari, you’ll return to the hotel for breakfast. After Breakfast, you’ll be chauffeured back to Delhi (about 6 hours). Transfer to the airport or your hotel for your onward journey. Your Ends with wonderful memories.
