Tour Itinerary:

10 Days Delhi Jaipur Agra Khajuraho Varanasi Tour

Day 01: Arrive in Delhi – Pickup – Overnight in Delhi.

Our team chauffeur will be waiting to greet you at the airport and accompany you to your pre-booked hotel.

The rest of the day is at leisure to settle in and recuperate from your international journey. Depending on how early in the day you arrive, you may explore Gurudwara Bangla Sahib or Akshardham Temple if time permits. Check in to your hotel. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing – Jaipur – Overnight in Jaipur.

Today, after breakfast a guided tour of both Old and New Delhi begins. Visit Jama Masjid (The largest mosque in India). Take a rickshaw ride through the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk, one of the oldest and busiest markets in Delhi. Stop for photos at The Red Fort. See the India Gate, a war memorial that honors the soldiers who died in World War I. 

Also, stop for photos at the Parliament House, and the President’s Palace. Then visit the Qutub Minar Complex (One of the oldest monuments of Delhi).

After your tour, you will be driven to Jaipur. Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 03: Jaipur City Tour – Overnight in Jaipur

After breakfast, at 8.00 AM, meet your guide and proceed to explore Jaipur, the Pink City. Founded in 1727 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the ruler of Amber, Jaipur was the first planned city in India. This town is also referred to as the Pink City for the color of the buildings in its wonderful old city. The city was painted pink to honor the visit of Prince Albert of England in 1882. 

­Visit Amber Fort -This magnificent fort comprises an extensive palace complex, each with its own courtyard. Jal Mahal -(water palace) It is in the middle of Man Sagar Lake{photostop}. Next, visit the City Palace, which includes the Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal palaces and other buildings. It was the seat of the Maharaja of Jaipur and the Royal residence. 

­Jantar Mantar. It features the world’s largest stone sundial and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Hawa Mahal -(wind palace) stop here for good pictures. Come back to the hotel after your tour. 

Overnight in Jaipur. 

Day 04: Jaipur to Agra –  Overnight in Agra.

This morning, after breakfast, You’ll be chauffeured to Agra with an en-route visit to Fatehpur Sikri (a 16th-century Mughal complex that was abandoned by Emperor Akbar after just 14 years). 

Later, continue your journey to Agra. On arrival, I’ll be transferred to your pre-booked hotel. Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 05: Agra Tour –  Overnight in Agra.

At 6 AM, our driver and guide will pick you up from your hotel to visit “Taj Mahal at sunrise” a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Taj Mahal is an ivory-coloured white marble mausoleum on the south bank of the Yamuna River. 

Then come back to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, you will be driven to explore the Agra Fort, which was the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty. 

Later visit Itmad-Ud-Daulah (Known as “Baby Taj”). This tomb, sometimes referred to as the “jewellery box” or “baby Taj,” is often considered the draft for the Taj Mahal. After your tour come back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Agra.

Day 06: Agra Jhansi by Train – Jhansi to Khajuraho by Road – Overnight in Khajuraho. 

After breakfast at the hotel, meet your driver who will help you board the train from Agra Cantt Railway Station to Jhansi. 

Arrival at Jhansi, meet your driver who will drive you to Khajuraho. Arrival Khajuraho & check in into the hotel.

Evening: Light & Sound Show at Western Group of Temples

As dusk settles, head to the Western Group of Temples for the Light & Sound Show, a captivating narration of Khajuraho’s history, mythology, and architectural brilliance. The illuminated temples under the night sky create a magical ambiance, setting the tone for your deeper exploration the next day.

Day 07: Khajuraho Sightseeing – Overnight in Khajuraho.

This morning, after breakfast, meet your guide and explore Khajuraho. The temples of Khajuraho were built between the 9th and 11th centuries. The temples are famous for their exquisite architecture and intricate stone carvings. 

The temples are adorned with sculptures depicting gods, goddesses, celestial beings, mythical creatures, animals, and scenes from daily life.One of the distinctive features of the Khajuraho temples is the presence of erotic sculptures. These intricate carvings depict various aspects of human life, including lovemaking. visit 

Western Group of Temples: Begin your day with a serene walk through the most iconic temples—These marvels are known for their intricate sculptures and celestial architecture. Next visit, 

Eastern Group of Temples: Visit Parsvanath, Adinath, and Ghantai Temples, showcasing Jain architecture and peaceful surroundings. Overnight in Khajuraho. 

Day 08: Khajuraho – Varanasi (By Flight) – Overnight in Varanasi.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Khajuraho airport to board a flight to Varanasi. Upon arrival at Varanasi airport, our representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel in Varanasi.

After some Rest at the hotel, meet your local guide for a tour of the Ganges and its ghats, culminating with the evening aarti ceremony. A highlight of our Golden Triangle Tour with Varanasi, these ancient ceremonies have changed very little over hundreds and hundreds of years. 

The smell of sandalwood and incense swirls around while the sounds of prayer chanting and clashing symbols rise to a crescendo. Hundreds of little oil lamps twinkling on the river are a pretty sight. Overnight in Varanasi. 

Day 09: Varanasi City Tour – Overnight in Varanasi. 

Rise early and return to the Ganges for a sunrise boat ride. A sunrise boat ride is the highlight of this tour when a soft light bathes the temples along the riverfront. The people of Varanasi trickle out of the tangled alleys and head for the ghats at dawn.

Take a walk to the labyrinth of streets packed with derelict palaces, homes, and hundreds of temples and shrines. Experience the lifestyle of people, and feel the culture of the city. Here you’ll see funeral processions, cows, and goats munching on whatever they can find. 

You’ll also explore a winding lane known as Vishwanath Gali, lined with many shops selling all manner of religious objects. It leads to the city’s principal shrine, the Vishwanath Temple.

Return to our hotel for breakfast. In the afternoon we will do a most popular excursion to Sarnath located 13 km northeast of Varanasi.  It is a very special place for Buddhists as Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon at Sarnath, after attaining enlightenment. Return to Varanasi. Overnight in Varanasi.

Day 10: Varanasi – Departure – Tour Ends

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Varanasi airport to board for your onward journey. Your Ends with wonderful memories.
